SEXUAL ASSAULT COUNSELING SERVICES

Counseling services are available for victims/survivors of sexual abuse, and secondary victims, i.e. their families and friends affected by the abuse.

SAS offers individual, couple, family, and group counseling provided by masters level therapists.

Groups include an ongoing incest support and therapy group for women, and periodic groups (depending on whether there are enough clients for them: an adult group for survivors of recent assaults, child groups, teen groups, and parent groups.)

SAS counseling practice is based on a client-centered, empowerment focus. We work as a team with our clients, with the clients being the experts on themselves, and with the counseling staff helping with our expertise based on education, training and especially on learning from our extensive work with other survivors.
